I am pleased to announce that Shoreline Design has started remediation work on the deteriorated bulkhead at the east end of the beach.  Over the next two weeks they will build a stone revetment around the bulkhead (but not in the swim area).  They will also improve the marsh area behind the bulkhead by removing the Phragmities and importing sand.  We will work with Shoreline Design to plant native Spartina at that location.  Stay tuned for information regarding opportunities to help plant.

Weather permitting, work will be completed by the Fourth of July weekend. 

Please be careful around the equipment.  Shoreline design has surrounded the area with fencing - please do not trespass or allow you children to climb on the rocks or equipment as it can be dangerous.

Please note: The nettle net will be installed after completion of the construction so that it is no damaged during construction.
In addition, the benches at the point will be temporarily removed so they are not damaged during construction.  They will be reinstalled upon completion.
